We had some crazy Arizona weather this Fall and I had to reschedule a couple of family photography sessions due to rain, but this one was worth it! The weather was perfect, and this family looked gorgeous!! The winter sun reflected such beautiful tones that made this family look coordinated, but not too matched, the perfect combination for the pastels of the desert!

Cameron is in second grade with my son, Kellen. They have been in the same class for the last 3 years, they share a love for art and took painting classes together! It has been a joy watching these little guys grow up, especially Channing! He was just a little guy when we met! At first, he was picking up Cameron from school with Mom, napping in the stroller. Now he is running, playing, and wrestling with his older brother! During my family photography sessions we take lots of breaks and allow for little ones to get there energy out, so it doesn’t feel posed or tiresome, especially for little guys;) Channing did great and kept up with the best of them, I really love this cute little smile, sometimes he was trying SO hard to smile, that we had to get him to smile a little less!

I love being invited to be a part of a family’s moment in time, to tell the story of where they are and where they are going! These boys are growing up fast, we can capture only a glimpse, but when we do, it is one of laughter and fun! I look forward to many years of friendship and great times with this family!

Arizona Family Photographer-Holiday Photos

Gotta love when Dad shows up with coordinated, and personalized dresses for his completely adorable daughters, a stellar location, and a smile that brightens the room! Most of you know that for my family photography sessions my husband comes along to hang with the guys in between “takes” of family members and to add a few jokes to get some amazing smiles ( I am not the funny one in our family:). This past weekend, my hubby was already “booked”, however, we did not need any encouragement from this Dad, he was ready to rock this session!

Little Keira was suffering from a ear infection during the shoot and Humberto was comforting, flexible and calm during our attempts to make her smile and look our way. As an 18 month, this is no small feat on a normal day, but when you’re in pain, it is not fun for even the most resilient of children!

Alena has clearly had practice looking adorable and she was ready to model for the camera!

Most of all, what I loved about this session is the love you can so clearly see between Dad and his girls!

Family Photos with the Bares!

I am blessed with personally knowing this gorgeous family for over 10 years and they are so precious to me! The Bare’s inspire everyone around them with their generosity and love! With so many fond memories from our past, it was an honor to be able to share a new memory with them…family photos! Mark was a little hesitant when Char asked him to pack the couch, but I’m thinking he will love the results, I know I do! Perfect couch for this location!

I’m really enjoying getting a chance to photograph some young adults this year, it’s been nice to catch up and hear about how they are each finding their path in life, it’s also fun to see the poses they come up with!!

We laughed throughout the session and got some great shots of the Bares, just being the Bare’s! Such fondness for this photo session, I might have to do a post on a behind the scenes soon!!
